This is by far the best Ayurvedic cookbook out there, in my opinion. It was recommended to me by an Ayurvedic practitioner way back when and every single recipe we have made from this book has been absolutely delicious. A number of the recipes have stood the test of time and stuck as family favourites.

For each recipe, Amadea Morningstar tells us whether it will increase or decrease each of three doshas and there are often minor tweaks that can be made to a recipe to change the effect it will have on the doshas. The recipes are also labelled with the season(s) in which they should be eaten.
